2.3.3 Fabric (Textile) laminas.

Fabric laminas are reinforced with textile fabrics, described in Chapter Fabrics in the textbook. Again, they are derived from fiber and matrix objects that you defined earlier. Fabric laminas have additional intrinsic properties to describe the geometry of the fabric.

Once you enter the fiber, matrix, and intrinsic properties, the remaining properties of the lamina, such as all the moduli and all the strength values are calculated by methods described in the textbook.

The input data and output results are explained in Textile composites.
