2.3.2 Random laminas.

Random laminas, also called continuous strand mat (CSM) laminas are reinforced with randomly oriented fibers. As unidirectional laminas, CSM laminas are derived from fiber and matrix objects. Once you enter the fiber, matrix, and intrinsic properties, the remaining properties of the lamina, such as all the moduli and all the strength values are calculated by methods described in Chapter Micromechanics.

The output results are explained in Random micromechanics results.
