1.7 Validators

The values allowed in all input fields are restricted to a fixed range to prevent the user from entering unreasonable results. The checking is done with validators. If you think some of the validators are too restrictive, just send an email to the Administrator and we will relax them.

Also, when you try to save or update a page with input values, additional validators check for the validity of the data given. If everything is OK, you must get confirmation that the data was saved in the form of a green box at the top of the page, like this:

If something is amiss, look out for a reddish looking text box at the bottom of the page. It contains information about what is wrong, like this:
